For ALCER Castalia, volunteering is an expression of changes in the situation of people with kidney disease and an opportunity to improve their situation.

The volunteer person is one who, in a reflective, altruistic, supportive, free and committed way, decides to participate within the entity.

Officially, according to Spanish Law 45/2015, of October 14, volunteering is considered all those actions of general interest that contribute to enriching the quality of life of society.
